Dear Lake Property Owner:
The Horsehead Lake Association (HLA) is a voluntary organization for Horsehead Lake, Big John Brown and Little John Brown and was incorporated under Michigan laws as a private, non-profit corporation in 1981.
Some of the many benefits HLA provides are to help monitor invasive weeds and see that spraying is done in needed areas; maintain mandated water levels; handle fish surveys and the planting of walleye; periodic water testing, etc. HLA also sponsors recreational activities such as the 4th of July fireworks, the boat parade and a youth fishing tournament.
Please fill out the form below and return it as soon as possible. Your welcomed support in the form of membership provides property owners with a local organization that looks out for the welfare of Horsehead and the John Brown Lakes. This also allows you to communicate your wants and needs to the Board and to vote at the general membership meeting on important lake topics. HLA sends out a quarterly newsletter, The Feedbag, to disseminate information on lake issues to you as well as maintaining a website, http://www.horseheadlake.org. Dues are just $25 annually.
To join, 1) please fill out the information below, 2) Click the “Join HLA” button, 3) You will receive a verification email shortly after, 4) Mail a check with your membership dues ($25 annually) to:
The Horsehead Lake Association P.O. Box 344 Mecosta, MI 49332
